Rules for visitors

The purchase a ticket certify that the visitor is familiar with the Rules for visitors and undertakes to follow them.

 

1.GENERAL RULES

1.1. Enterprise Līvu Akvaparks owned by Akvaparks Ltd, reg.nr 40003508890, at 24 Viestura Street, Jurmala, hereinafter – Aquapark.

1.2. Rules for visitors determine the order in which visitors get services in Aquapark, and set forth regulations for safety, hygiene and other requirements for visitors as well as Akvaparks Ltd. rights, obligations and limitations of liability.

1.3. Rules for visitors are developed to provide a pleasant stay in Aquapark for each visitor and in order to avoid any unpleasant misunderstandings, injuries and losses.

1.4. Rules for visitors should be followed by all visitors irrespective of age. A visitor prior to signing a service agreement (purchase of a ticket) should carefully read these rules and follow them while receiving the services. Rules for visitors and instructions (pictograms) for particular attractions are developed under the provision of legal acts of the Republic of Latvia.

1.5. The rules are placed on the premises of Aquapark, in the foyer by the entrance and published on the home page www.akvaparks.lv. If visitor sustains damage or causes damage to a third party (material losses, physical injuries and/or moral damage) as a result of failure to read the rules or doesn’t follow these rules, or ignores the staff’s instructions, Akvaparks Ltd. does not bear any responsibility for it.

1.6.  The use of Aquapark’s facilities is an activity which requires certain physical efforts. Visitors should assess their physical abilities, the heals and swimming skills prior to visiting the water amusement park. Following the rules for visitors and instructions for slides attractions (pictograms) will help to avoid injuries.

1.7. Trained lifeguards supervise the visitor`s activities in Aquapark. Visitors undertake to follow the instructions for particular attractions (pictograms) on the territory of the park in addition to the general rules.

1.8. Video surveillance is conducted on the territory of Aquapark. It is intended to prevent unlawful activities which can cause damage to Aquapark’s property and to protect visitors’ life, health and vital personal rights in accordance with the Personal Data Protection Law. 1.9.     Visitors are informed that pictures can be taken of them as well as of their underage children or guarded minors on the premises of Aquapark. The visitor has the right to see their personal data at the manager of Aquaphoto Ltd. Reg. Nr 40103215468 registered at 25-6 Dižozolu Str., Riga, LV-1058. Phone number +371 29846414, e-mail address aquaphoto@inbox.lv.  If the visitor does not want to be photographed, they need to take the appropriate label from the employees of Aquaphoto Ltd.

1.10. Aquaparks Ltd is responsible for the compliance of the services provided with the requirements of the Law on the safety of goods and services.

 

2.ENTRY INTO AQUAPARK

2.1. The purchase and/or the use of a ticket certify that the visitor is familiar with the Rules for visitors and undertakes to follow them.

2.2. When purchasing a ticket, the visitor receives an electronic bracelet (chip) which they use for check-in and check-out. If the time between the check-in and check-out exceeds the pre-paid time, the visitor has to pay a surcharge according to the pricelist. The pricelist can be found in the lobby of the Aquapark and on the website www.akvaparks.lv.

2.3. Children under 10 years of age may visit the Aquapark only if accompanied by parents or by an adult (guardian) and should stay under their strict control. Adults must be at least 18 years of age and bear responsibility for the health condition, behavior as well as for observance of these rules by the children entrusted to them.

2.4. Children between ages 11 and 13 may visit without presence or escort of parents or guardians if one of the child’s/children’s’ parents or legal guardian`s signs a Confirmation of Personal responsibility at the entry, assuming care and responsibility for their child, the child’s health condition, behavior, as well as for observance of these rules.

2.5. Children aged 14 and above may visit the Aquapark without presence and accompaniment of parents or adults, however the parents stay responsible for the child’s health condition, behavior, as well as for observance of these rules.

2.6. Group leaders receive upon request a briefing on the Rules for visitors from a representative of Akvaparks Ltd safeguarding service. Group leaders assume responsibility for all members of the group in accordance with these rules. The group leader is responsible for ensuring that the group has a sufficient number of adult persons to ensure the health protection, behavior and compliance with rules by all members of the group.

2.7. In case of full occupancy, the administration of Akvaparks Ltd is entitled to suspend admission of visitors for a time until vacant places become available.

2.8. Admission of visitors to Aquapark ends 90 minutes before closing.

2.9. Akvaparks Ltd administration may change the attraction accessibility at any time without previous notice. The admission price discounts in such cases are not applicable.

 

3.WATER PARK VISIT REFUSAL

3.1. Aquapark is not intended for visitation and visiting is strictly prohibited for:

3.1.1. persons with fever, conjunctivitis, skin diseases or other contagious diseases, open wounds, bandages, protruding moles or other skin formations or other diseases that endanger the visitor himself or endanger life and health of other visitors;

3.1.2. persons in a poor health condition (cardiovascular diseases, rhinitis, head injuries, diarrhea etc.);

3.1.3. persons under the influence alcohol or other intoxicants;

3.1.4. animals;

3.1.5. persons without an electronic bracelet (chip).

3.2. Visitation of Aquapark can be prohibited to any person, including a person whose visitation can threaten the order, safety and hygiene condition of Aquapark and or whose behavior contravenes morals or rules of conduct.

3.3. A visitor who fails to follow these rules or disobeys caution signs, captions placed in the park, instructions of the rescuers, the staff’s instructions on observance of these rules, can be immediately removed from the water amusement park without refunding of the paid admission price.

 

4.HOW TO USE THE WATER PARK

4.1. With an electronic bracelet (chip) on the territory of Līvu Akvaparks a visitor may:

4.1.1. close /open one locker in the locker room, pay for services, receive information on their locker number and on the time spent in the water amusement park and the amount of money they spent from their virtual credit;

4.1.2. a visitor can use an electronic bracelet (chip) as a payment instrument in bars and restaurants or also use it for other paid services. At the entrance the cashier deposits a virtual credit in the amount of EUR 80,00 into the bracelet (chip) of an adult which they can spend paying for services. If a visitor uses this credit, they must pay the amount they spent at the exit cash-desk. This service is not available for children’s bracelets. In case of any uncertainty about the use of the bracelet it is necessary to immediately contact the cashier in the locker room.

4.2. Overcoats and street shoes should be left in the cloakroom during the winter season (from 01 November to 30 April) and the visitor should keep the token. During the summer season (from 01 May until 31 October) all clothes and street shoes should place in the lockers. The administration of Akvaparks Ltd. can change the rules and working hours of the cloakroom at any time without notice. Visitors are not allowed to wear street shoes in the locker room regardless of the season.

4.3. A visitor, at the request of the staff, should present an identity card or any other document to certify that they are entitled to any discount or to prove their right to sign the Assumption of personal responsibility (for example when their child is left on the premises unaccompanied).

4.4. In order to ensure the safety of visitors of Aquapark and its personnel, the visitor should provide personal items for inspection upon request of the staff of Aquapark. The staff of Aquapark have the right to check the bags and belongings of the visitor, incl. those left unattended, without the consent of the visitor.

4.5. A visitor may visit Aquapark in swimming pool slippers or barefoot, in European-type swimming trunks, swim-wear or in beach clothes (shorts, shirt, dressing gown, skirts, etc.). It is not allowed to wear beach clothes going down the slides and using pools.

4.6. It is not allowed to wear swimming trunks or swim-wear with open zippers, buckles, rivets, metal, glass /glassy material ornaments and cover your face partly or completely.

4.7. Glasses should be secured with straps.

4.8. Before entering the park amusement area, a visitor must take a shower and step into the disinfecting foot bath.

4.9. For safety purposes it is prohibited to bring bags and tableware into the amusement area of the park. An exception can be made for babies’ necessities (nappies, towels, plastic bottles for baby food, etc.)

4.10. Changing clothes is allowed only in designated places – in changing cabins. Nudity is prohibited outside changing cabins.

4.11. Sliding down water slides can cause damage to swim-wear in some cases.

4.12. Improper usage of water slides can result in falling, blows, shocks, snagging etc. as well as damage to swim-wear.

4.13.A visitor undertakes to follow rules for each particular attraction including specific guidelines placed at the start and finish of each slide.

4.14. The water park amusements, saunas, swimming pools, restaurants and bars must be vacated 15 minutes before the closing time of the water amusement park.

4.15. Whereas Akvaparks Ltd does not provide storage services for visitors’ belongings, but just provides lockers to visitors for use, Akvaparks Ltd assumes no responsibility for damage, destruction and loss of clothes, documents, mobile phones, valuables or any other things left on the territory of the park, in the cloakroom or in the lockers.

4.16. Akvaparks Ltd assumes no responsibility for any damage, loss or injuries etc. resulted from the visitor’s negligence, lack of proper attention, carelessness or disregard of these rules, including non-observance of the staff’s instructions.

4.17. Akvaparks Ltd assumes no responsibility for any damage or losses sustained by visitors while on the territory of the amusement park if such damage or losses are caused by a third party or other circumstances, for which Akvaparks Ltd are not responsible in accordance with these rules and statutory regulations.

4.18. In case of injury and /or damage to property of visitors of Akvaparks it is necessary to immediately call the nearest lifeguard in order to document the scene, time and circumstances of the accident and, if necessary, get the first aid and register the occurrence in the Akvaparks Ltd accident /medical log.

4.19. A visitor is held liable for any damages or losses which they caused to Akvaparks Ltd or to a third party.

4.20. A child under 10 years of age, while in water, must stay within arm’s reach of the guardian. This requirement also applies to groups of children. The fine for non-compliance with this instruction amounts to EUR 50,00.

4.21. Any employee of the water amusement park is eligible to give instructions to visitors regarding observance of these rules, while visitors must follow such instructions.

4.22. Visitors may use the lockers only during visiting. When the visit is over, the lockers must be opened and emptied from everything. Visitor`s forgotten items are stored for 3 days, after which they are irretrievably disposed of.

4.23. Food and beverages may be consumed only in the designated places.

4.24. Toilets and changing cabins must be used based on anatomical and biological rather than acquired gender.

4.25. The changing cabins are intended for changing clothes only. Any other actions unrelated to clothes changing, including washing of clothes, hair dying, are prohibited.

4.26. Brought along swimming accessories must be presented to the staff and they may be used only with the permission of the staff.

4.27. Using a sauna with wooden benches sit on a towel.

4.28. Litter must be placed into designated containers

4.29. At the end of a water slide the tube must be passed to the person first in the queue.

 

5.ON THE TERRITORY OF AQUAPARK IT IS PROHIBITED

5.1.to scream, whistle, run (the visitor might slip and be injured), push other visitors, call for help without need in order not to mislead lifeguards;

5.2.to use Aquapark services in inappropriate clothes, for instance, in underwear or in swimwear which does not agree with European culture. Children under 3 years of age and people with urinary incontinence may visit the water amusement park only in waterproof nappies;

5.3.to jump into swimming pools from edges, run along the pool edges and jump into pools, go down the slides with head first;

5.4.to spit on the floor and into the water, ease oneself outside of toilets. The fine for non-observance of this prohibition, as well as for child’s urination outside of toilet makes up EUR 20,00.

5.5.to swim in the brake pools at the end of a ride, to stay in the brake zones and pools;

5.6.to climb the slides and handrails;

5.7.to use attractions, rides, saunas or swimming pools under the influence of alcohol, drugs or other intoxicants. The lifeguard service and security service are eligible to ask a visitor to pass an alcohol test and to eject a drunken visitor (permissible margin is 0.5 per mile) or those who refuse to pass an alcohol test without refunding of the paid admission price;

5.8.to use amusements/slides if you are pregnant;

5.9.to ignore the instructions and the rules of use of the slides and other amusements (in case of any doubt one should address the lifeguards), indications of the swimming pool depth,

5.10.for safety purposes it is prohibited to use the slides and attractions if you are wearing rings, watches, earrings, chains etc.,

5.11.for people who cannot swim to stay in the park without water wings or life vests,

5.12.to leave children under 14 years of age unattended by adults,

5.13.to drink alcoholic beverages, if you are under 18 years of age,

5.14.to stay in the SPA/VIP area without parent(s), if you are under 14 years of age,

5.15.to use slides and attractions which are not working;

5.16. throw ice, pour water or any other liquids onto electrical devices on the premises of the water amusement park;

5.17.to enter premises intended only for the staff of Aquapark and not intended for visitors;

5.18.to smoke. The fine for non-observance of this prohibition is EUR 50,00;

5.19.for groups of people visiting together – to use any part of the water amusement park in a way that creates restrictions or obstructions for other visitors wishing to use this part,

5.20.to bring along food and beverages and consume it anywhere on the territory of the water amusement park, which includes the changing rooms;

5.21.to use computers, cameras, video cameras and other similar devices on the premises of Aquapark, which includes changing rooms and shower cubicles;

5.22.to socialize with the staff in a way that interferes with the performance of their duties or hamper their performance of duties any other way;

5.23.to use chewing gum,

5.24.to dive and remain underwater for a long time,

5.25.to compete in holding breath underwater.

 

6.VISITOR’S RESPONSIBILITY

6.1. It is prohibited to bring food and beverages to Aquapark. The fine of EUR 100,00 shall be charged for bringing glassware in the park with following ejection from the premises without refund;

6.2. The fine for the loss of an adult electronic bracelet is EUR 80,00 and for the loss of a child’s bracelet is EUR 10,00. The fine for the loss of a cloakroom token is EUR 7,00.

6.3. Penalty for gross abuse of an employee of Akvaparks Ltd or failure to abide by reprimands or instructions of an employee of Akvaparks Ltd. is EUR 100,00.

 

7.GUIDELINES FOR SAFETY MEASURES OF ATTENDING A WATER PARK DURING THE COVID-19 DISTRIBUTION PERIOD 

7.1.  This instruction is an appendix of the Rule of Aquapark visitors and its integral part. If this instruction contradicts the Rule of Aquapark visitors, this instruction takes precedence.

7.2.  Visit Līvu Akvaparks only if you are helthy and feeling good.

7.3.  If you have symptoms of a disease (cough, runny nose, shortness of breath, fever, etc.), you are not allowed to visit the water park.

7.4.  Aquapark has the right to ask a visitor who has symptoms of illness or who does not follow these instructions to leave Aquapark without a refund for the admission ticket. Expulsion from Aquapark does not relieve the visitor of the obligation to pay for purchases, if where made before.

7.5.  If you are over 65 years old or suffer from chronic diseases, or suffer from immunodeficiency, take special precautions or avoid visiting Aquapark with a large number of visitors.

7.6.  Be sure, choosing a locker, that there are no other visitors nearby; keep 2m distance.

7.7.  Act purposefully and quickly in the locker room and showers (it is recommended not to be in the locker room for more than 10 minutes and in showers for more than 5 minutes), keep 2m distance.

7.8.  If there are a lot of people in the locker room or shower, wait and after a while return to the locker room or shower.

7.9.  Using the services, follow the informative instructions and announcements (for example, the maximum number of people in the sauna and jacuzzi, the recommended time period, etc.).

7.10. Sitting on the shelves in the sauna, use a towel and keep a distance of 2m.

7.11. Wash and disinfect your hands after touching frequently used surfaces (such as door handles), use only disinfectants provided by Aquapark. Please inform staff if you notice that the disinfectant has run out.

7.12. If other visitors violate the precautionary measures, be responsible and inform Aquapark staff.

7.13. To limit the spread of the virus, during the distribution of COVID-19, forgotten items of visitors are not stored and disposed at the end of the day.

7.14. Necessarily  wearing a mask that covers their nose and mouth, before going to the attractions, incl.before going to shower.

 

Persons in self-isolation, in home quarantine or isolation, or with signs of respiratory illness are not allowed to visit Aquapark! 

For non-observance of the distance, the visitor is responsible in accordance with the established regulatory acts. Be responsible!
